The power supply
is shown - it's integral to the modulator. The only component external to the modulator / power supply is the DU2 power transformer itself. It would have made the chassis too heavy to mount it there. I do the same with all of my transmitters - have for years. Never do I put the power transformer on the chassis for anything over about 450 watts. To do so makes things too heavy to mount in the rack conveniently. Keep in mind, this rig runs the same power as a Johnson desk or a KW1 - a lot of power in a relatively small (and not too heavy) package
Wayne does absolutely amazing work ! A Far superior implementation to anything I could have done for sure.
Wayne claims this is his last transmitter. He has built a number of class E rigs - most of them for other people.
