Stone Mountain hamfest was one of the best in the area.  Great weather, huge indoor flea area, tailgating area filled to capacity, many commercial vendors.  Lots of boat anchors, decent quality, fair prices, lots of equipment changed hands.  The golf carts provided free transport of heavy metal to the waiting vehicle in the parking lot.

A friend scored a clean Viking II and VFO 122, and will be on AM soon.  I found the remaining parts I need to finish my Class E PDM rig, including loading capacitors, shunt caps, and enough 5 ohm 50 watt non-inductive resistors to create a dummy load to test the PDM power supply and modulator.  We picked up a box of ten bud mini-boxes, NOS in original boxes, for only $8.00  Met up with many old friends, and observed one of the gang doing satellite comm in the flea area.  I will post several pictures, that don't even begin to cover what we experienced.  It took almost three hours just to cover the tailgate area.   Max-Gain Systems and the ScopeMan were there too.

The fest was way down from previous years Undecided . There were about 3 rows missing from out side tail gate area and at least one row from both buildings, lots of empty spaces. Still a good fest. GREAT weather. What was there was very good.
