Making AM GREAT Again!

« Reply #25 on: August 09, 2016, 09:17:20 PM »

I know for a fact Delco used C Quam in the 80s.    I had to fix their crappy Blaupunkt built tape transports at a service center in early 90s.

A friend had an 86 (bought end of 85) Chevy S10 truck,  show quality 4x4.   He had a stereo AM and FM factory stereo as well.  That thing sounded beautiful.   IIRC,  Boise designed the speaker systems in those as well.

I remember this truck as it burned up taking me on a 4 wheeling for my birthday.   It was a few months old.

But,  Chevy did have Delco stuff with C Quam.   Was probably 'factory'  on
