Good day gents.

Could someone tell me what the value is of the plate parasitic choke resistor on the Ranger II? This one's burnt to a crisp, and the schematic and parts list just list the whole assy. as "L9".

Thanks

Those resistors are usually in the range of 50 ohms.  Someone should know exactly the value used in the Ranger.

According to Carl,  33 ohms.

He also gives the values of other editors to check.

Carbon Composition 2-3W resistors of 47 to 51 ohms will work just fine.

I used Xicon MOF.  It seems to be behaving just fine so far.
