  Just got an email from a high school friend, he took a class with the Whitman, MA Amateur Radio Club and passed his technician class exam the other night.

  When I was back in MA last year in the Fall to visit my sisters we went to the first day of NEARFEST. He has had an interest for a few years, I encouraged him to find a local club that was giving a class.
