I saw this continuous rotation pot  in an old magazine and wonder if anyone makes this kind of part today.
It has two wipers spaced 180 degrees and three taps on the continuous resistance at 120 degrees.
It's an Ohmite DR-125.

I had a pair of AC (I think) selsyns, bronze, war surplus about the size of a quart can back in the 60s as the indicator for my beam antenna! The whole assembly was taken away by roofing repair guys and never seen again - it was on the roof of an adjoining apartment building in the Bronx! Cheesy Turned by a 1/3HP 120vac motor and a gear reduction drive + bicycle sprocket & chain for a drive. Lafayette telescoping TV mast!! I turned the mast.

Heh.
