I bought this amp partly completed and have done a little work on the RF deck and was rebuilding the power supply, but just don't have time to mess with it, in fact have not touched it in a year.. It can be considered a kit at this point. The pictures are not current, are from when it was picked up a couple years ago, so not everything is shown. Pick up only.

This would be a great first QRO amp project and the PI coil, tube, choke, and suppressor are rated 4KV and good for 1KW AM carrier. All for $100, but there is of course some cleaning up to do. The plate trans is enough for it but the tube and parts will take more voltage.

What is included for $100:
* RF chassis with:
 -Used 4-1000 tube, but no guarantee.
 -grid ammeter
 -plate ammeter
 -7.5V 21A filament transformer
 -B&W 850A band-switched pi-tank rated 1KW carrier AM/4KVDC
 -B&W FC-30 filter choke
 -plate choke suitable looks like B&W 800 or 802 4KV 90/110uH
 -plate blocking doorknob capacitors
 -Loading cap (not the dirty original but one that is like new)
 -Tuning cap same model as in Johnson Thunderbolt.
 -Socket fits 4-1000A or 3-1000Z
 -plate supressor and 4-1000 plate cap
 -150 ohm NI resistor (cathode to ground to help matching)
 -T/R relay
 -and whatever other doodads are on it.
*Bud rack 4 Ft tall with front panels and back door included, and:
 -Transformer, primary 120VAC, secondary 6400VCT @ 500mA CCS, 800mA ICAS.
 -Filter caps: two, 4uF @ 4KV
 -Choke Thordarson T-47174 7.5H 33 Ohms DCR, nice quite high current one.
 -Filament transformer for rectifiers 3B28 or 866, in case you want tubes instead of solid state I have 3B28's.
 --The transformers, caps, and choke have been tested.

* other parts:
 - There are enough 5000-10000uF, 200-250V caps here to make a bigger filter. removed from a huge UPS.

what is shown but not available:
* The green power supply wiring in the pics is gone, it was not really safe and was to be replaced. You rewire..
* No casters any more, they were shot.
* The thing did not come with a bottom plate for the RF chassis but it is standard about 17x13 and if we can find one not in use among the collection, it will be free.

What is weird:
* The tank had the plastic supports disintegrated but has been repaired satisfactorily if you are not fully, and at least temporarily if you are, with new plastic supports.

What is additionally available (did not come with the amp, and will be sold only with the amp):
* SK-506 or equiv. chimney. $40.
* An Amperex or Philips equiv. 3-1000Z is avail as new for $500. (must use SK-510 with 3-1000)
* Blower from a selection here for low cost to be negotiated.
* Alternate high-flow socket SK-510 - will exchange for the installed but less-desirable SK-500 air system type.
* Other parts or upgrades might be negotiated, but 1000W output is no slouch.

What else:
* Since it is mostly in parts, there can be some negotiation to remove one thing and include another from the available items here. For example people do not like the Eimac SK-500 air system socket but prefer the high flow plastic one usually used with the 3-1000. I have that if a swap is wanted, plus many other possibilities only available on site here.
* No shipping, please don't ask Pick up in Dallas Texas. I have a hand truck to help load it.
* The included items alone are worth far more than being asked, no wheedling the price down, cash only.
* Hams only please.[/color]

PM here, thanks.
