I currently have and use an HQ-170 and may have a chance to pick up the SX-111. I under stand this is subjective, but what's the consensus when comparing the two? I must say, I'm not totally sold on the HQ-170. Any pro's and con's going with the SX-111? I'm pretty new with the old rigs and have read some of the threads from two members on their choices, but failed to see the SX-111 mentioned. The 111 would match my HT-37, but that's really not an issue for me.
The rig seems to be in pretty nice condition seeing the pictures and was told it works well. Also a few caps have been replaced. Any insight on the audio quality of the SX-111? Worth the switch or hold out for something else?

I was never crazy about the tuning setup on the SX-111.  Not a lot of flywheel smoothness.
