Only that the FCC rails against them, and the hamsheeple also make fun of such items. Those that don't candelstinely use them on 11M that is.

My first HF mobile rig was a 10 meter Uniden HR-2510 transceiver. Even Realistic had several different models just for 10 meters. Many of these rigs are still in use. Of course, then there are the many boatanchor transmitters that had an 11 meter position on the bandswitch. I don't see people making fun of those either.

The 2510 and rat shack models and old 11M-having ham sets were reputable sets and not railed against by the FCC. What was made fun of is that the FCC rails against the disreputable export CBs because they are supplied as 10 meter sets intended to be modified for CB use and that the DX-10 is the same design as the disreputable export CBs.

I've heard more CB-types on 75 meters than 10 meters.

that type will go to wherever it finds someone who will piss and moan when qrm starts .... a cry for attention ....

ignoring them cuts them off at the knees ....
