Anyone ever used one of these as a receiver with a transmitter?

Not me but it covers 64-1700 Mhz only afaik.

Hopefully you'll get a response here but I think most of the regulars on amfone are alergic to anything above 7.3 MHz.   Grin  Wink

Well AM activity can be found on 50MHz and in some parts all the way up to the two meter band. At least include our interests up to 30 MHz. I agree the FUN in the Fun Cube is probably experienced on other forums but I think more than a few here will disagree that AM stops at 7.3 MHz.  Grin

KS2AM, W2VW, N3IBX, myself, and probably several others had done 2 meter AM with beams and ground plane type antennas, but, then again, we're cool and always trying to work the edge.  Grin

For some, if it's not a wire antenna and at least 300 feet long, it's not an antenna.  Grin

I've been using one for over a year and a half now
Fun Cube Dongle Pro+

I put a coax Tee on the receive out of my dowkey and share that with my R388.
If i use the 388, I mute the FCDP+ and use it as a band scope or a receiver when I need the capability of SDR receive.

If I'm just in listening mode, I use the SDR and don't fire everything else up.
