Decided to go through the details and attached are some of the results. The TLT transmission line transformer operates as expected and would be of value to put it to application, for example OCF dipole. The transfer from a transformer (magnetic) like in the paper, is re drafted here to coax. There is no magnetic transform coupling required other than at the lowest frequency of interest where the impedance of low Zo cable is insufficient. The return loss is nearly 20 dB from nearly 2 MHz to 200 MHz. You can see the classic low frequency response as we approach 100 kHz, trending to a short.

Comments?

Thanks, Alan
