Here is a copy of Jamie talking about his ham radio days as well as his career building and installing shortwave transmitters around the world. In this broadcast Jamie talks about building a transmitter in South Korea among many interesting things. I think Jamie may be a member of this board and its too bad we no longer hear him on the bands! I have lost contact with him but if anyone out there knows how to contact him, please send me a PM. This URL is to my Google drive and you may download it or use one of their players. Anything else on my drive is public.

If you have any problems with the link, let me know. Enjoy..

Wonder where he is these days?  Interesting guy.  Had a great mobile signal when he was running around these parts several years ago.  LMAO when he told the story (on 75M a few years back) of how he set his house on fire accidentally as a teen.

Yes, he related that story on the broadcast above. I would bet most of us true AM'ERS can tell a fire story. I've had my share of letting the smoke out!

Wow, I had to go back to my Fred Flintstones archive to find that call? I never heard him talk about that one.

Well here in the North East he is affectionately known as the Vomit Man but I am not sure if he likes that moniker??

BTW, it looks as if the best option is to download the broadcast which is about 1.5 hrs long for you people with ADS Grin Grin Grin I am one of such types.

Heywood is one of a kind.

Real life on 75 meters. What a concept.
