WBCQ # 1 transmitter seems to be making sweet sounds again....

Amazing what Timtron does.......but another listener told me that Timmy moved their 9330 transmitter to 7490 and made it to be full carrier AM transmitter. Tim was doing a live show and made that announcement earlier. They use what is called a 'modified AM signal" on their 5.110 and what was 9.330 TX and there is another transmitter on around 15mhz that use this method of AM. The actual carrier is reduced 6dB and looks like they're modulated in USB.
Apparently the Harris 50kw was completely destroyed by a fire last Spring and Tim does not have the time to try to rebuild it.
