Nice!  The fuse looks like it has sufficient current capacity to run several SX-100 receivers in case you buy more than one.  AND if the fuse blows then the user's fingers can be used as an alternative current carrying path.

Some people cut the cords off old radios before they sell them trying to avoid liability for injury.  I generally don't like that practice but this is one case where it should be done.  You would like to think that is just a holder for a spare fuse but from the photos it appears it is the live fuse.

While we can't be certain, the ubiquitous 'claim of ignorance' is a at least pet peeve. Anyone who has a speaker and the radio and has plugged it in should be presumed to know how/whether it makes any noise and should state the facts. I'm not targeting this seller, but the plethora of suspicious claims and statements of ignorance found on the site in general.
