Beautiful stuff. Thanks Steve!  Noticed a lot of links to another fine dobro player, Rob Ickes...any relation?

Christmas Day here in SE CT is also green and bright (at least the grass is) after all that rain that blew through here earlier today today and the last few days - put on shorts and a Hawaiian shirt this afternoon, temps up to near 60 degrees.  Hawaii, on the other hand had a blizzard watch for the upper reaches of Mauna Kea volcano yesterday, with up to  8 inches of snow forecast and hurricane force gusts.  Wind was really cranking just north of Diamond Head just before I left there on Monday...I was  totally soaked when these pictures were taken, but shortly after the rain let up and the wind dried me out in about 5 minutes!

That's the WX we had yesterday. Got to almost 70. By mid-morning today, it was completely clear and sunny. Temps dropped from the mid-60s over night into the 50s. By tomorrow morning we'll see mid-30s.

Not related to Rob Ickes. Wish I was. He could show me some of his techniques on the resophonic.  Grin
