If this is unacceptable, mods please remove.

I'm learning to use a "graphing calculator" after finding out how it can show curves for coils, amplifiers, frequency calculations, and the like. It would be nice not to have to always go to the full size computer (in the house), especially when at the workbench in the separate shack.

I'm sure lots of you all have used this kind of fancy calculator, so please bear with me, as mine is an older one, a TI-82 bought for $5 at the ham-fest, and this is perfectly fine for me, - but it does not have a back-light and is hard for older eyes to see.

Has anyone added a back-light to something like this? I am sure that those here who have built small accessories and SMT things might have a clue on whether it can even be done.
