It's alive. IT'S ALIVE!!!

I was talking with my father-in-law, Braxton, the other day. Now, Braxton is one of those folks who grew up in the country but is very wise to the ways of the world. He doesn't talk a whole lot, but when he does, one needs to listen.

Anyway, Braxton says to me, "Philip, you need to put up an antenna at the other house so you don't have to sit on the hot porch when you're on the radio." (I do portable ops a lot). The property has two houses on it.

I plan on erecting another open wire fed doublet just like the flamethrower I recently installed. I replied "Yessir, I sure will".

Duplicate AM station........possibilities.....possibilities.

Needless to say, I have a GREAT father in law.

And how does his daughter feel about that?

Breathing solder fumes since 1959.  That explains a lot.
