While wallowing on another website, I came across an announcement for "Tube night".

http://www.eham.net/ehamforum/smf/index.php/topic,96510.0.html

"The 3938 tube net is held on the last Monday of each month at 8:00 pm Eastern time (3938 Mhz)."

Like a cover charge, there is a 3 tube minimum.

If you only have two tubes, try to make your voice sound 'warm'.

Are we allowed to use weak tubes? How about black plates with D getters?

How about a tube that weighs ten pounds but will only put out ten watts?

There must be more rules than what was posted. How can you operate with just one rule?
