Looks like some great gear!  If that was really $75.00 for a very clean B&W 5100B, that is a fantastic deal.

Heard you talking to Mr. PJP on 40M today and it sounds like everyone had a good time.

I sold over 1000 pounds of crap, including a pair of AR-88s for $25 each, a nice NC-183D and NC-173, and a mountain of HP test gear to a scrapper.  That was kind of sad, but he gave me my price.

Nick England posted some pics on the boatanchors reflector and someone had an Altair 8800.  I missed seeing that!

I almost bought those AR-88s, but the guy who got them got his cash out quicker!

Oh well, I guess I saved my back from lugging them to the car...

Was a time those AR88s never would've made it to Johnny's table if I saw 'em first. Doc says I'm getting better, though.  Grin

First thing I sold was a dirty-but-restorable RBO-2 that was a real nutbuster to move around. Wasn't I pleased to see that go! Sold some RU coils and other goodies too.

Johnny did the best with only three things left on his table. Think I had half a dozen or so, but all small things except a 250TH deck that nobody would even make an offer on. It got hauled back to 'HX HQ where it was summarily torn down and sorted. Turns out the 250THs are low/no hours 1950s-60s production, and there were a lot of other goodies inside too.

Had a pretty clean unhacked BC-348R too, complete with dynamotor, shockmount, and power connector. No bites, even though it was priced $100+ below the average ebay price. Guess that's where it'll have to go to sell.

Getting to hang out with the gang again was the best part, along with seeing other friends and meeting a few new ones. As to purchases, I bought nothing. Not so much as a connector or tube. Doc's got me on the right meds alright.

2000mg of Wifeandbabyoxylin taken several times daily with an occasional 500mg dose of Thisneedstobegonicin, usually take around the time of a hamfest. I was moved up to these when the 50mgs of Lessismorezine she had me on before had little effect.

How much was asked for the Rhode&Schwartz Polyskop II, the big CRT-based network analyzer shown in  farfest145.jpg ? bottom of the stack far left. old but nice, goes to 1200Mhz. silver plated chassis. Just asking, as I have one.

That was mine.  I sold it and that stack of HP gear for $125.  I had $50 on it, no bites at that price.

I have a couple of network analyzers already and that was surplus to my needs.

I'd be interested once I am back to work, but shipping would be impossible. It's a really beautiful piece of gear.
Do you have the manual on it? I have an electronic copy, maybe you sent it? Someone sent it to me. SWOB Polyskop II.

Johnny:  Thank you for NOT bringing these to Deerfield and making a serious conflict for moi.  Hope to see you "Southern guys" in October.
