Anyone know of a source for threaded potentiometer adapters? I'm looking for something that will increase the diameter and length of the threaded portion of the pot. I don't know what they are called and have no clue where to look.

Bob,

I believe what you are looking for is called a threaded bushing.  Measure the thread size on your current pot and maybe look at McMaster Carr.

Rodger,
I've come up with a solution so no longer need a bushing/insert. Found some basic lamp hardware and accomplished what I needed to do.

to the fellow ham (I think it was KG8LB) who emailed me offering to machine something, thanks for the offer.  I'm sorry, I deleted your email by accident so I'm not sure if I have the callsign correct but I will keep you in mind for any other future ham machining. Thanks.
