Sad news to pass along

Our friend and fellow ham, Jim O'Keefe (W2SY), passed away on Dec.20 in Syracuse, N.Y.  Mostly a CW operator Jim was a popular vendor at hamfests throughout the Northeast for several decades.  If you were buying or just looking Jim was always there to greet you with a big smile and good conversation.

Hi Ken,

Even though I did not know Jim, I am sorry to hear about his passing Ken.  As you described him, I am sure he touched a lot of lives in a very positive way.   We need more folks like him.
