I'll have to take my hat off to AMFONE.
Yous guys make this site really enjoyable and informative. QSO's have interesting technical stories and we get up to date when we have problems with life. The Tech forum is always interesting when we are trying to get some BA back to life. And we have adapted to the new-age computer SDR and the use of linears. Some of us do not have the space or ability to deal with an old broadcast transmitter.
Flaming pops up once in a small while here.
I read and respond to articles in eHam and it is constant aggravation and flames. Some new blood in eHam and newbie questions asked over and over. I do not try to enter the fray in some threads, but some are irresistible and the response I get is pretty less than amazing.
Have a great time with your families.
Merry Christmas....Happy New Year

Shimmer is also great as a contact cleaner on those rotary bandswitch contacts.  And it makes the old boat anchor smell good when doing those old buzzard transmissions too.

My smart?phone voicetext screws up homophones, but they are crystal clear from my 75 meter plate-modulated AM transmitter

The key to getting fulfillment from the site is moderation, of course. Too much or too little use can directly impact the overall enjoyment.
