DIALUPS - NOTE FILE SIZE OF AUDIO FILE.

Made this recording of my 32V1 today as a audio check.  It's a direct digital to digital recording.  During the recording Rosie, my kitty decided to fuss at me for her lack of food.  I think she's getting in the mood for Thanksgiving

Rosie is such a good cat.  Every time I go over to Al's place, Rosie greets me and of course expects to be petted and scratched.

Happy Thanksgiving Al to you and your family!

DIALUP FRIENDLY VERSION

Here is a reduced quality version of the same recording.  Probably not much difference.

Happy belated Thanksgiving to all...was going to get on 75 early this morning but slept in after standing in line freezing my BAs off at the local Westerly RI Wal-Mart from 11 pm until 1 am to pick up a Singer Heritage sewing machine for Diane...apparently I got the last one, even though there were only a few hundred people in line in front of me.  There were eventually probably a thousand people behind me in line before they opened up.

Aside from standing around in the cold (thoughts of the March of the Penguins kept coming to mind), it wasn't as horrible an experience as I thought it would be...they did a very good job of controlling entry of the store once they opened up, let in groups of 10 every 20 seconds or so. Most of the people were teens and twenty somethings looking for xBoxes, Playstations, and big screen TVs.

Was it worth the insanity? Diane is happy, has a really nice new machine for $188 bucks, they seem to be going in the 400-500 plus range on Amazon, and I logged in a big bunch of brownie points to cash in a a later date, so I guess so.

The things we do for love...
