For those of us who are also amateur astronomers, Comet Ison is brightening.
Yea! Many of us think that Comets brought life to many planets (I do)!

Ison got cooked today like a turkey as it passed perihelion....the coma evaporated and the remnants dispersed.

amazing images.  Besides ISON, what's fascinating is the moving matter captured in each frame.  The sun is spewing its usual stuff and all sorts of other matter flying around too.
