Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed. Easily done in DSP.

That's kind of an absurd statement by Bruce. Lenny Bruce never heard 99.999% of all comedians. So how could he honestly claim any of the few he had heard to be the greatest, worst or anything else? Lenny Bruce once described Corey as "one of the most brilliant comedians of all time"

Consensus seems to growing that, amusing as they might be, ham radio badges are unwise apparel. I agree. Unflattering, inappropriate, subject to abuse, for all their sparkle, ham radio badges serve no legitimate purpose. I think that's been the prevailing opinion for some time, but it's useful to periodically reaffirm our disapproval and bolster our resolve against that which is unbecoming to amateur radio.  |
