Radios arranged triptych style.  But deep within the Crocodile Brain could there not be an atavistic Sweet Spot, a convergence of Gangbusters and Mad Science?

I heard a QRMer once got a triptych shoved up his sweet spot atavistic style.

Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth  +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed.  Easily done in DSP.

I'll always defer to Herr Doktor Corey.  So old I remember him on Jack Paar and J.Fred Muggs on the Today Show on WNBC.
(wow wotta station on QRZ!) You related to the network or the locals?

Some good gags with that badge! Well worth the cost.   Grin

Why anyone would have a HAM badge other than for a joke is beyond me.

Ah yes, the official "CASH HEAT" badge.  We sure worked over some "officals" when wearing this one...   Grin

Corey is still working and he'll be 100 next July!

That's kind of an absurd statement by Bruce. Lenny Bruce never heard 99.999% of all comedians. So how could he honestly claim any of the few he had heard to be the greatest, worst or anything else?

I must be missing something.

Especially in today's goofy world and the devout fascinations with 'homeland insecurity'.

Saying it is just a joke might be true, but wearing any type of badge is asking for it from a lot of dark corners...

Consensus seems to growing that, amusing as they might be, ham radio badges are unwise apparel. I agree.  Unflattering, inappropriate, subject to abuse, for all their sparkle, ham radio badges serve no legitimate purpose. I think that's been the prevailing opinion for some time, but it's useful to periodically reaffirm our disapproval and bolster our resolve against that which is unbecoming to amateur radio.  Smiley

Be sure when you use the word Official you spell it Offical, too. It's a bit of a tradition here.
yes, it's OFFICAL!

Nah..."....give him a full spread of photo torpedoes. We'll pivot at Warp 2, and bring all tubes to bear."

I think the Hamsexy site is pseudo dead. I've not seen any new material there in a LONG time.

Enjoy the Vaal reference, albeit it took awhile to register until the Trek cues hit me over the head.

Long ago, perhaps by happy accident,  Robert Crumb nicely summed up ham radio in Zap Comix #1. An excerpt:
