pe1mph AM from Holland

« on: August 27, 2013, 03:53:04 PM »

Hello AM Lovers,

This morning I (Henk) heard AM from the USA.
On 3875 khz I heard 3 (or more) talking in AM mode.
The time in Holland were +/- 06.30 hour (Summertime).
All in the morning...

Sorry I could not get names or calls...
Most signals were between S1 to S5.
Received with a Kenwood R 5000, connect to wire +/- 45 mtrs.

Greetings,

Henk, pe1ph

Thanks Jeff!!!
Sorry I could not get any name or call, but signals were good.

This morning I listen again on 3875 khz, but signals were poor....
I keep my ears (and eyes) between 3870 - 3885 khz in the morning... Wink

Hnyello Henk,
I am surprised that you heard me. I use a directive wire array that puts most of my signal to the West. I can reverse the pattern to the East but I have to go for a long walk up the hill. Hopefully by Winter I will remote control the pattern switch. Tim WA1HnyLR

One station good: max. S7!
The other were weak: S2

Maybe someone can give me the name or calls from them. Smiley
