For sale is a Johnson Viking Ranger I. This Ranger has been recapped and works well. A few audio modifications have been done to it such as replacing the first audio stage tube with a 12BH7, removing a few treble roll off caps and changing the modulators to EL34's. It works well, puts out about 40W and modulates nicely to 100% positive. Last time I used it on the air it was reported to have some hum on the audio which was never happened before. It might have been my audio chain but I'd just like to mention it either way. Has the factory keyer tube and "shelf".
I'd like $275 local pickup in Albany, NY. If you are interested please send me an e-mail.
