Hi Steve here,
I dont know to many of the AM ers mostly because my staion was dark two years now do to a qth move.
Now that Iam relocated I hope to get to know some of you.

I just want to show my new project a Collins 20v3 bc rig that I found in TN. Here is  some pixs. This is the rig after cleaning, with the transformers and chokes reinstaled. and the power sulppy chassie I have rewired the hi voltage supply with new GTO 15. And now working on the mod deck recap.. more pix to come.

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking 20V-3. What band, or bands, do you plan to convert it to? They are fantastic transmitters. Your going to love it. Have a look at the link below.

Ok mike it`s nice to meet you.I have seen your page befor what a job! getting that rig down stairs WOW..
You really dont know just how big & heave the 20v3 is till you get next to it and try to move one.

as for the bands I was thinking 80 & 160 vfo tuned and also cw mode. But not there yet I still have more work just fireing this beast up.

I just love the look of those modern-looking white panels.   What a beautiful rig.

Make it frequency-agile from 160-40M with vacuum variables / turns counters and a big band switch. You will have it all - whirlwide!

Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth  +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed.  Easily done in DSP.
