There's a guy named Rich or Rick something that buys tubes and old audio gear. He usually sets up a card table with a sign at NearFest. I'm looking for the guy but I lost his card. I have a pile of tubes from an estate I want to move...

Maybe you could post some of them here in the For Sale site? You might have that tube many of us are looking for?

Agreed. I'm sure a few people (myself included) would be interested.

I have a large inventory of tubes that eventually I will part with but many more than I will ever use myself. Perhaps it would be better for those who need a tube to list the need here, maybe in the QSO section. I don't have my tubes cataloged but they are sorted by physical type, miniature, octal, metal, loctal, TX, etc. If I knew what someone needed I could probably find it. Many of my tubes are oddball TV tubes. The more common 12AX7, 6AU6, 6BA6 etc. types I tend to hold on to as I use them in my restorations.

If you're wanting tubes in general, or specific codes, put it in the Classifieds (Wanted)
Likewise, if you're selling tubes, put it in the Classifieds (For Sale/Trade).

Sounds to me like he is looking for someone in particular who was at nearfest and adertised that they bought tubes, which means it's not that he's looking to sell to everyone here, he's looking for a specific person and asked if anyone knew who that was.

Yes, I get that idea but it can't hurt to ask? It is his first post. sometimes people join a board just for a certain reason and then go away, never to be heard from again?

Hard to tell who you were addressing? Is there a problem?
