As it happens, I was not at home for the rally. I had a very good reason for this: I needed to go meet my newest grand daughter, Charlotte Elizabeth Ramsey. She was born on the 7th and weighed 6 lb 5 oz and is 19" long. Mother and baby are doing quite well. This is my youngest son's first child.
When we were headed out the door the following Tuesday, I had the sudden (yeah, right) insperation to grab my Mohican off the shelf and bring it along. It just so happens I had replaced the batteries the day before. A set of headphones were right there also.
Anyway, I did have a little time to listen during the day on Saturday and copied the following calls on 40 meters:
N2AUG, N8XPK, W2JBL, K8DBN, WB3FAU, W8NWF, WA2ROC, K8TV, WD8BIL, WB9ECK, W8LXJ, and N8NSN. So, for me, the rally was fun even without a transmitter.

I don't know, that sounds like a pretty flimsy excuse to me  Grin   SERIOUSLY Congratulations on the new grandchild!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad you got to listen, at least.  People were definitely coming out of the woodwork.
