Hi Yall  :-)

I just had my modulator transformer rewound by Gary at TRS and have it installed in the Ranger with 6550's ( Gary did a nice job to )

According to the WA1HLR turbo mod info I am to set the modulator idle current  90 to 100 ma.

Does this highr current put my newly rewound modulation transformer at risk ??

No, mod xfmr should be OK.

Don't run the idle current to high with the 6550s. 80-90 ma.  Depends on the plate voltage on the tubes.

Don't exceed the plate dissipation or you can damage the 6550s.
