Slow day here in ND. Made a few contacts on 20M AM. Took the dogs for a walk. Got the hamshack all straightened up. It was so purty, I thought I'd show it off. Here is what it looks like as of the afternoon of 12/15/12. Gimme ten minutes and it'll look different.

Am in the design stage of another big HB rig. I want this one to be unique and something to be proud of. So it'll go slow. Will post schematic when available. Initial thoughts are to have a Taylor 822 in the final position modulated by 805's or 811's zero bias. Close to legal limit power, probably not quite.

Ron

Looks very cozy and very inviting, Ron. Especially with the two sidekicks in the photos. I bet they appreciate the warmth of those glowing tubes on a cold winter night. It looks awfully tidy and organized, though. You might need to get more stuff and pile it around just to be safe.  Wink

I see you've sprouted some chinwhiskers too since Milton a decade or two back when you had all that good stuff out of the Plattsburgh SAC base. Still have a couple of those boxes full of God-knows-what!

Amazing how spacious and relaxing a shack can be when not cluttered up!  Thanks for the glamour shots!

Very nice looking Radio Shack Ron!  I am sure you will get plenty of enjoy operating some of that great gear.  Nice to see another HT-9.  I had two of them at one time but gifted one to Vortex Joe, N3IBX.  I retained the post war version and had Howard, W3HM repaint and silkscreen the front panel on it.  All I need now is some coils and its all set to go.

Nice setup Ron, except maybe that the SP600 location should be swapped with the 75A4.

I like the wood desk and table, very retro.
