Haven't heard these guys on the air for a long time. They were on 40m all the time back in the 90s all the time. I know they would be up there in years. Does anyone have any info on these fellows.

Ed N3GWE and the Colonel Ed KO3L.

I thought about them too a couple of weeks ago. Last time I saw 'GWE' was at Butler and that's been years ago.  He sent me a couple of FB neut. caps, one of which is in my Shoebox 813 and the other is in my Dual 813.

I did not know the Ed's...GWE shows up on a vanity callsign list as available since 2010, I believe it expired in 2008.

The other Ed is still in QRZ..he is listed in the North Hills of Pittsburgh.

N3RHT at one time was selling one of N3GWE's transmitters.Something has hosed up my login on QRZ. I was going to check with Don, N3RHT and see what the deal is. I bought a lot of stuff from Don when he was thinning the herd after getting laid off a few years ago.If anyone can send me N3RHT's address per private mesage or regular e-mail, I will contact him and check on the two guys mentioned.

The Colonel used to show up late nights on 75 meters too. I haven't heard him in 8-10 years.
