Hello AM Lovers,
Yes I made a new topic, because this is 'big-AM-news'! Smiley
This morning at 06.00 hour (by me!) I were in our kitchen.
And listen with the KPO 2100 Worldreceiver, first on 3707 khz.
But many strange noice and carriers with rtty signals, S9+.
Therefore I thought: 'Lets try on 3885 khz if I hear AM from the USA'.
But did I hear it good, were I awake or did I sleep.....
On 3875 khz I heard a man talking in AM with a BIG signal!! Grin
On this receiver NO extern antenna only the telescoopantenna total out!
So I thought realy I were dreaming..... hi, hi...

I heard W1LLY talking in AM and in qso with other AM stations.
First I made my bread ready, which I take to my work...
And quickly I take some 'bread & milk' and I 'run' to our livingroom.
The Kenwood R-5000 on and I heard W1LLY again talking, S9+10!!!
He told about his call before this: WA1MPY and he heard a 'breaker'.
Later he talked with 'thé talkstation' from The Netherlands...
Sorry, I could heard totaly anything from him.... thats a pity....
Later W1LLY spoked with more AM stations on 3875 khz.
Only from Pete? I could hear some words.

Pff... very good conditions this morning,

Henk, PE1MPH

The band was very long last night (early morning). I saw some of the strongest signals from Europe I've seen in a long time.

I keep hearing the RTTY on 3707. We need to find another frequency Henk.

Yes I can.

OKE!!!!
I monitor next days 3615 khz evenso for USA AM! Smiley
But from Monday till Friday I can not transmit, only listening....
Because I must be at time on my work....

During the weekend I can 'listen & transmit'. Smiley

With your permission Steve....
I sent this evening an email to my AM lovers.
So they can 'monitoring' evenso: 3615 khz!!
And perhaps transmit there....

Just I were on 3615 khz in AM with:
GW8TBG and EI3GWB and told them about the signals on 3875 & 3885.

Greetings and thanks for your info,
