Got my new operating chair from Raytheon.  That completes everything.  Now I just need a second mic, mic boom and a remote TX switch.  Many hours of FB AM QSOs anticipated.

Fantastic chair Al !!  I like the look.  My office desk in our family room came from within my family.  It dates back to the 1800's and I need to find a period chair to go with it.

All I got after 25 years was a crappy Soleri bronze bell. Tongue

I sold it on eBay.

That is a very nice piece of furniture.  A nice matching Raytheon cushion would make it worthy and comfy in any shack in the land.  I'm envious.

And, you could put rollers on the legs.  Grin

That's a beautiful chair Al! The only problem is that when operating AM it's nice to have a chair that squeaks loudly to add ambiance and character to the signal. That chair smacks of high quality and may not produce satisfactory background squeaking as you shift around during long old-buzzard transmissions. You might want to use a whoopee cushion until the chair loosens up a bit.

Uh, not exactly Louis XIV Pete.

Maybe you want to trade it back for that Alpha.

Bill, W3DUQ had the best squeaking chair ever!   Need to get that chair back in the AM community.  Hopefully, in the next several weeks, several of us will be paying Bill a visit.
