well i finaly got power back at the house. wow it is nice. I made it out good in the storm. just limbs down in the yard, nothing big.

was without power from 7am tuesday to 8am today.

i was really lucky in the storm and hope everyone else in path of the storm is ok.

hopefully this will be the first and last storm in this area for the season, i am ready to hang some wire in the air and get ON THE AIR.

Wow that's quite a stretch without AC Mains.

Do you have a generator ?

That's how we keep the well pump running, the hot water tank ready & refrigerators cold. Not enough to run the air conditioning but we can fire up the oil furnace and its blower, so that's okay.

We had a nearly five day outage earlier this year and didn't lose any food.  Not so lucky during El Derecho.  We were out of town the whole time this summer when it happened, and came back to two fridges & freezers of spoiled food, ugh.

Glad you made it relatively OK, Brandon. When it gets cooler, I will be back on. Starting to get some rain from the remainder of Issac now.
