From this week's ARRL Letter:

The caption reads: "ARRL Southeastern Division Vice Director Andrea Hartlage, KG4IUM (seen here at the AM station in the ARRL Lab's museum room), resigned from the ARRL Board of Directors on August 1." If you want to read the entire article, go here: http://www.arrl.org/arrlletter%3Fissue%3Dcurrent

My grandmother had a carpet like that a hundred years ago.

I don't have a carpet like that (yet!) but the two rigs shown are the core of the AM station I am SLOOOWWWLLLY putting together.  The Valiant is obvious, but does anyone know if the receiver is a 300 or a 303?

Looks like my research of what a really nice circa 1957 AM/CW station might be has the official 'okey dokey' from ARRL.

Only about 12 caps and an alignment left to go...  Grin

It's a NC303. Here's the beginning of the ARRL, W1AW, Vintage AM station: http://www.arrl.org/vintage-station-qrv-at-w1aw
