Announcing the arrival of the radio club of the National Capital Radio & Television Museum, that I put on HF this morning for the first time since we received an official club license.
Right now it's primarily on 7285Kc and up, the sweet spot of an inverted vee in a tree about 40 feet at the center.
First stations in the log book are:
KA3PTX Ed
N2RY Rich
WB3FAU Russ
N5ACR Marco
K3GY Don
Thanks gentlemen for helping me set the audio and the signal reports.
We have about 10 licensed radio hobbyists among volunteers at the NCRTV Museum, with maybe five of them including myself ready to go on AM from the club station shown below.
The hours have not yet firmed up, but will probably be daytime when we demonstrate "vintage AM" to our visitors, and generate some contacts with the AM Community at large.
The Vee should also do well up on 15 meters, but I haven't tested it there yet.
