..ok..the last few days, i looked at my loop ant..got another 250ft of 10ga  to add to it..make it about 780-800 foots...h/brew 600 feed..ok...i'm over here, but over there the damn thing is "hung-up" as i try to raise it...800ft of wire with ropes, distance above ground, something called "gravity" makes raising it difficult...

..ok..i needed help..no one around...rocky is in iraq..i called him...he told me what to do, and passed the word...
...all is "ok fine" now...

So it's done?

Don't feel bad, same thing here no one would help me with the tower for 3 years but finally two guys from the ham club that do it professionally stepped up and made me a deal. I did have to pay but it was only a little.

I had a friend who was a Novice back when I was( early '70's). He wanted to work his son who was in Rockford, IL at the time. He put up a 700 foot long rhombic. He also had a 900 foot long-wire. He had me to bring my HW-100 over when I upgraded to General and put it on the rhombic(I was in north Alabama at the time). The stations in Chicago were accusing me of runnung too much power. That antenna was a HOSS!! I am planning on putting up a 560 foot loop for 160m this fall.
