No pain, no frustration since you can't do what you want and a great legacy for those on this earth to remember him by.  Not a bad position to be in considering all he had to endure during his last days here on mother earth....

RIP my friend and let the monkey swing with those round Weston meters mounted on the black wrinkle panel....

Yes, Happy Birthday, my comrade! ! ! !

It is really nice to have some of him still residing in the radio room! ! !
I was actually signing one night last weekend as "KB3AHE with N3DRB ridin shotgun"

I like to remember his unusual remarks.
They are on here to see.
Too much of speech is boring.
More weird things need to be said.

So true! ! !  And also true of many others who's AMisms we still often use.

Between Timmy and You, Steve, were the ones who really drug me into AM  Shocked  Grin

After that night we had that very lengthy phone QSO when I was in the hospital, when he did die, he took a little piece of me with him.

But, having the little box of his ashes sitting in the radio room adds a special effect. Whenever I walk into the room, I usually say HI to him. I cant thank Gloria enough for the honor of having them! So he is actually ridin shotgun in my shack............. BJB will always have a place to get on the air!

Nice touch, Frank.

I wondered if he would hold this honored place in your radio room, right at eye level like the Big Guy was in real life.

As soon as I find the right pictures to redecorate the box, I have a few other momentos to make up a small N3DRB "shrine" (Keep in mind my sense of humor)

And, yes, it WILL have it's rightful place at eye level! !

Derb and I shared a birthday (or perhaps it was +/- a day).  Happy birthday, bud, we sure as hell miss you.

Frank -- let's look for one of those programmable greeting cards, take the audio module out of it, and make fresh card stock to place right next to his particles there.

Here's the idea, lift the flap on the card, and out comes a suitable recording of The Derb as, say, the BJB.

REINCARNATED !!!!

Ya know ?
