Just wondering on this one. I was going to strip it for parts and after I thought about it for a little while, changed my mind. At first glance, looks like a commercially manufactured RF deck for VHF lowband, using 807's in the output? Oscillator and multiplier stages are all loctals. There are no tags or markings at all besides some penciled on tube #'s. Any ideas?

Looks like an old GE or Motorola transmitter strip.  The meter indicates that it might have been a base station unit.

Going by the meter, it's part of a Link transmitter. Looks to be either the RF deck from a Link 50-UFS, or the exciter deck from a Link 250-UFS. Both are almost the same it appears.

The RF transformers ID it as an "edition 7" version of the 50-UFS transmitter.
Please don't strip it! I'm interested if you do not intend to use it.

It's correct that it is the same item whether used as the driver for the 250W rig or the entire transmitter for the 50W rig. I have a 250-UFS transceiver on 6M, crystal controlled. It is made for 30-50MC. That chassis is one of the units of it.

The full manuals are on that site as well as some good pics of the station.

start on the second row, see how it all goes together. If you have the whole thing it is a nice looking set.

If you don't want to use it, I would like to trade for it or buy it because mine has had a "problem" in that box to the left as you show it.

I have similar things and parts, plenty of random panel meters as well if you would trade.

Wow, good catch guys!  I missed the name on the meter.  Yes...obviously a Link transmitter.

And those recessed sockets said 807's at first glance.
