Just a note to the gang, Yes..I'm still alive Grin
This year has started off with my wife having a stroke, having to pay back the government 22k for an overpayment accumulated over 8 years, and cancellation of my planned weight loss surgery cause the insurance company decided they weren't going to pay!   ARRRGGH! Tongue
The good news is Colleen has made a fantastic recovery from a brain bleed is home and doing 99%
I am still pursuing the weight loss, but it will be a fight with the insurance? Since we are on a fixed income I don't operate the station very much anymore simply to keep the electric and heating costs down. The station is in the basement and it pushes the electric bill up.
I was planning on going back to work after the weight loss surgery as its become difficult to survive anymore....Thanks Mr Sotero Angry So when you think life stinks, just remember what you have and smile.

Sorry Brent your going through some tough times.  Life, from time to time throws as a few curve balls.  That's great news that your wife is recovering so well.  Health is certainly top on the "important list".
Hang in and persevere so your able to get past some of the issues your dealing with.

Thanks for all the kind words. This year will improve I'm sure. I just found out my oldest daughter just won a full boat scholarship to Texas A&M. Best news in a long time. She is raising my two grandchildren and maintaining a household at the same time..Phew!

Brent,

Sorry to hear about the events of the past few months. The absence of your big signal has been mentioned more than once as people wondered what you were up to. Hopefully, things will smooth out for you in the coming months. Great news on your daughter's scholarship! Sounds like she's one of those ambitious types! Man... raising two kids and going to school at the same time... I don't think I ever had enough energy to attempt that!

Glad the wife's health is improving.  Wishing the best with your own health.

Might be a worth while to run a tube rig.  Electric bill will go up but heating should be in check ;-)
