With 10 meters as good as it is, I didn't expect 75/80 meters to be worth much.  For some reason tonight I dialed in the DX window on 75 and there was SP2EKI who had a 5X6 signal into Southern OK.  I called him a couple of time and he responded with a decent report for me.

As soon as I signed with him DF2BO called me to report the same level signal.  I have never seen anything quite like this, 10 meters as strong as it is and 75 also providing propagation into central Europe.

Check the A and K indices. They are probably low. No reason 80 cannot be good the same time as 10.

40 meters has been hot lately too. The band was full of 20-30 over EU stations starting at 1630 local time and continuing right though the evening and night time hours.

It's a good time to be on the radio!

I noticed around 8 am central, I can hear New England and Europe armchair on 10 AM and it would be so fun to get a little roundtable going like that.  But alas, most are just wanting the old report exchange only and logbook entry.
