IN A TRIODE NO ONE CAN HEAR YOUR SCREEN

A somewhat beat up pair of Collins 820D-2 "rocks".

These came from a station Cottonwood, AZ.

At first, I was just going to kill them for the iron. Cry

I never thought they were Collins' best effort at an AM TX design. Tongue

The long drive home gave me time to think about that. Huh

They will be restored and put on ham freqs. Wink

Both are spoken for at this time.

Dennis,

Do you need any help unloading those two rigs??

I'm in NJ,  if you drive them out to my QTH I can give you a hand Grin

Can never say I don't offer useful help.

Fred, you are indeed a saint!:D

The humor dose from having a flock of DJ's help load was enough for now.Grin

At least it meant I didn't have to pull all the heavy parts to get 'em out.Smiley

One of them was walled up behind sheetrock, complete with black widow guards. Shocked

The other was in a storeroom, impossible to access with the truck.  It was also guarded, this time by a life-size plastic swordfish... Huh

They will stay in the Ford 'till arrival at the re-man facility in Woodland, CA.

One never knows what one will encounter on these rescue missions.....

ps...My next big-ticket item will be a liftgate on the old dog truck.

Dennis Mike just got a big lift gate for his Dodge. I guess he knows a guy that deals in used ones.  I can get you in touch with him.
