The PSU is first.

Shown before and after to date.  Extra hambone holes welded up, chassis re-plated.

The RX is next, shown as-obtained.  Lots of work ahead to former glory.

Memories!

I had the next model.  I think it was a SP-100.  When I was  JN I started out with a Halli S-38b -a piece of junk.  I had a job back then (age 16) so the very first chance I went to Evans and picked it up.  Great receiver.  Had it for decades.

Congrats.  I'm currently using a SP-600 with the Sherwood sync detector a great combination.  I have a SP-400 on the shelf waiting for some TLC. Nice job on the PS

Great job on the power supply, looks new.

Just last night, I was looking in a 1936 WC Handbook.  That receiver listed for nearly $400 back in 1936.  By 1943, the price of the SP-200 series had dropped to little over $300.
