Yo!  I've made major progress gathering all the necessary parts to put together my own "kit" for rebuilding an AT-1 from the ground up.  The front panel is in very good shape so for now I don't intend to re-paint and re-letter it.  I want to put a new coat of paint on the cabinet.  After doing some research, I've seen recommendations for close matches for newer units such as the DX-20, but those were several years old.  Is there a current reference or source that I can tap into?

Second, I'd like to start a blog of some sort to document the work in progress. When it comes to computers, I'm a lid.  I don't even own a cell phone...too complicated and intrusive.

Any suggestions?  I intend to keep you all posted of course, because the AT-1 is the first step in finally building that 350 watt 813 AM rig that I've been collecting parts for over the last 15 years.  It will be my exciter.

My first xtr was a DX-20 and I scored a beauty awhile back along with a complete DX-60B almost perfectly-matched station in near-mint condx so the AT-1 will fit right in.  Peace!

Mike
