Well, so far, the weather for the long awaited, spring event, Near-Fest,
is really looking rather good at mid-week.
Hopefully the weather gods will hold on to the promise of really good
weather for the two day event and the attendance will be rather high.
I will be going with my girl friend, Shu, and we plan on camping
somewhere around the AM corral on Friday night. I am really looking
forward to seeing, meeting and conversing with as many members of
the AM community as possible during our two day stay. The AM dinner
is an event that I have yet to attend and I think that is long overdue.
So, We are really looking forward towards Friday and Saturday and being
   at Near Fest ....

The one item that I will be looking for is on the AM Classifieds "Wanted"
   page.

Thunderstorms are better than snow....I think.
In any case we'll have to pass, biz engagement, ironically only 45 minutes away.

Enjoy the meet!

As you can see the WX turned out just fine old man!

Best weather in a while. You can see that it was T shirt WX.
Oh yeah and I won a prize consisting of a keyer, a 1:1 balun, and a $50 gift certificate to Kits and Pieces.

Nice pix Steve,
Sure wish circumstances were diff. and I didn't live so far away.
Looks like your 14 hr. drive up was well worth it.

I'd've hated to be that waitress..  uh, wait person, -urk- with that crew.  Grin
-At least you had one YL to keep the language down.

Should have taken me up on my offer dave. I told you I had sunblock.  That's what happens to you city folk when you venture out of your cubicles and wander in the great outdoors!  lol j/k
