Wasn't there another thread complaining about no jobs for college kids. MFJ provides jobs and hands on experience, yet many blast MFJ.   Huh

My favorite is the guys who have little to no experience with MFJ's stuff but have somehow determined that all of the hundreds (maybe thousands) of products that they manufacture and sell directly or via their distributors are "junk".   Roll Eyes

That same idiocy sabotaged Radio Shack's foray into ham radio gear.  They made or branded and sold some good stuff at reasonable prices but so many morons derided them on the internet, seeking to make themselves appear technically sophisticated, that Radio Shack abandoned the ham radio market.   I have nothing to base this on other than gut feeling--they probably left it because the market was too small, but the attitude towards them by hams with teeny brains and huge mouths didn't help.

Another nice article about Leo appears in todays Omaha World Herald:

http://www.omaha.com/article/20110417/NEWS01/704179908#world-radio-founder-dies-at-100

I worked for a man who owned several electronics companies in Nebraska starting in the '40s who considered Leo a close personal friend and one of the finest men he'd met.
