Hello fellow AM'ers. I owe thanks to a whole bunch of you for the info regarding AM and becoming an AMer. A while back I left a message asking for a little info on operating in the AM mode and received a "ton" of emails and messages.
I had my eye on a "scratchy Apache" station but didn't pull the trigger fast enough and the station was sold. So I am in the market to by an AM station. I have been checking the "For Sale" section but no luck yet. I'd really like to buy locally with the hope that a local AMer can help me out with the info I need. I don't know if I should go elaborate or keep it as simple as possible. After close to 40 years as a ham, I'm looking for an Elmer! hi hi
Thanks again.... you all sound like a great group of guys and the fellows I have managed to meet on the air, were very helpful. I have become rather disenchanted with Ham Radio in general but working the AMer's seems to be a whole new animal!
Thanks again Fellas
