VERY cool site, thanks for posting.

I really enjoyed the period photos of the studio gear, since I've now got some of that stuff at home !

Then there was the shot of the guy who set up his own station a la TimTron at the broadcast facility.




Same board I run at from the Propagational Man-Cave / Radio Lodge:
RCA Type 76 from the late 1940s

Some of those older installations look scary. Studios and consoles look home brew.
The 10kw transmitter sitting in a room with fan cooling was pretty rough.
